History Of Temple

        There is no written documents to prove the age of the temple The astrologers in the time of Ashtamangala prasna calculate on the bases of phala, yoga and other relevant features comes to a conchetion that if was in existence before two to five thousand years the local place names, vocal speech (nudikattu) of Bhoothas support the conclutions.

is called as ‘kedu’ as the deity sprouted (udbhava) in the kidu the village is called ‘kepupura’ coloquel language of the imount villagers turned the name kedupura in to kidoor in the long run these the deity is believed as udbhava linga of lord shiva although then is no sufficient publicity the deity is also called by the name “kinneeshwara” as tound in the nadikattu.
